The Fellowship Foundation for Child and Youth Development (FCYD) in collaboration with local networks of public health volunteers and social development has implemented data survey and home visits to target children who are living in difficult circumstances in Sa Krai district, Nong Khai province. A definition of Children living in Difficult Circumstances (CDCs) is not a new word but revised of use to identify and replace any children with disadvantaged condition and situation including disabilities and abused. Some of us who live in town may not able to imagine what difficulties they are. We are discussing about basic services in life to ensure basic quality of physical health and education criteria. Pictures with stories of the children are aimed to share you to understand the other sides of people who lack and less opportunities of life development. They are really in need of help to upgrade their potential in order that they would be able to stand on their legs for their future lives. We, the FCYD Foundation and some members of mentioned local networks have paid visits to houses of the children and shared good talk and experiences among their parents, grandparents and the kids themselves. We also hope that, good talk as initiative and inspiration will keep and lead their lives to brighter future… To mitigate the household’s economic situation from poverty, we donate them scholarship and living allowances to ensure that, the children will have better support for some times from now. The FCYD Foundation will work out received data to be handed over & integrated into local governmental system, this will help them to be provided the assistance in a sustainable way.
