The FCYD Foundation, in collaboration with the village health volunteers. Village Head of Kutluk Village, Amphoe Rattanawapi, Nong Khai visited the home to encourage and advise Grandma Nang and Grandpa Phong on raising their little grandson, Ikkyu #2 months old, whose mother had to be away for necessary reasons and was unable to raise him from birth… Community Health Volunteers reviewed and provided guidance on newborn care to grandparents, including the steps for registering to receive the newborn subsidy (up to 6 years old) at the Tambon Administrative Organization (TAO) office. And the follow-up on grandmother’s disability pension, which is government assistance that has helped to ease the burden considerably.

The FCYD Foundation has provided additional financial assistance to Grandma Nang, along with various household items and infant formula. We wish Grandma Nang good health and pray that she can raise her grandson, little boy Ikkyu, with good physical and mental health and intelligence. Thank you to community health volunteers.
