The word “family” is of utmost importance in shaping a child’s complete identity. Children can grow up appropriately and develop good intelligence only with the correct and suitable parenting practice. The right way to raise children can only happen with a good relationship between parents and children. Good relationships can only be built on mutual understanding, understanding the differences in each person’s roles => the roles of parents and the roles of children.
Whoever in the family is the primary caregiver is the “true mother” according to the principles of EF brain development – because a significant number of children in rural Northeast Thailand do not have their biological parents actively involved in their daily care. This family camp featured bonding activities such as making Esaan-style flags, coconut leaf brooms, preparing and sharing lunch, and playing fun games. The children enjoyed the freedom to speak and express themselves, while parents and guardians were happy to share their frustrations and hopes for their children’s future.
We would like to thank the principal of Chakrapong Ban Huai Thian School, all the teachers, school board members, and parents for working together to create this wonderful activity. We would also like to thank all the kind-hearted individuals who donated clothes, dolls, toys, blankets, and household items. On this occasion, the FCYD Foundation has prepared gifts and prizes for the children and all families. Thank you.
