Landscape and playground improvement

“Coloring for the Little Ones” is an activity under the project to renovate dilapidated rural childcare centers. The FCYD Foundation collaborates with students from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Udon Thani Rajabhat University. This time, in cooperation with the early childhood development center and parents, they worked together to develop the building of the Ban Nong Kaew early childhood development center.

The Ban Nong Kaew Childcare Center is located by the Mekong River in Rattanawapi District. Rattanavapi District, Nong Khai Province has been established for several decades, still using Grandma Jew’s house, which she donated as the center until now. In 2015, the FCYD Foundation constructed and renovated the children’s bathrooms, washbasins, and playground. In 2025, under the “Coloring for the Little Ones” activity, led by the Tambon Administrative Organization (TAO), Rattanavapi, parents, local residents of Nong Kaew, teachers, and students collaborated to renovate the building and playground, repainting and decorating with new, vibrant, and beautiful creative cartoon artwork… While the older students were painting, the younger children came to cheer them on, saying, “We really like it. We want to come to school every day!”

Thank you to the kind benefactors from the Stichting Welzijn Zuid-Oost Azië (SWZOA) organization from the Netherlands for supporting the budget for this operation. Thank you to everyone who donated clothes, dolls, and toys. These have been organized into happiness bags and distributed to the parents and guardians of the volunteer workers. Thank you
