Childcare center ‘Wat Seechomcheun’ located in the temple area and provided childcare service for many decades in Dongdan village, Rattanawapi district, Nong Khai province. Before, local authority had proposed an initial decision to close the center and move it out to merge with another center. Parents and community people did not agree with the proposed idea due to its long distance to go and pick up young children. Thus, the center is still in operation at the same place until present. This time, FCYD Foundation called for a meeting with parents in order for a knowledge session of ‘how to raise young children to have appropriate growth’. After the meeting, we donated rice and foods for the parents, to mitigate their difficulties from Covid’s situation.
