School-Parents Relationship Building Activity of school-parents relationship building is a FCYD’s initiative with a purpose to strengthen up mutual understanding between school and parents in order to achieve a holistic approach to student development. This time, the activity arranged at Nawah School, Sangkom district, Udornthani. For students of primary education aged from 6-12 years old, they are in beginning period of young adolescents. It is important for teachers and parents to understand their basic personalities and characteristics. Most of the things they are in common behavior, it is called 3Cs; compete, compromise and coordinate. Activities of the relationship building was designed and led by experienced community leaders. It comprised learning bases of a) agriculture; vegetable planting b) bamboo handicraft c) breakfast cooking d) local games among parents and children and e) history of the village. It’s strongly hoped that the activities would be able to create high level of ‘attachment’ among parents and their children. This is a critical issue to ensure better secured future of the children when they grow up. Thank you for all supports and Nawah School.
