Ban Nong Waen School is a very small elementary school with 22 students, located in Amphoe Phon Phisai District, Nong Khai Province. Teacher Som reported that the students are very excited to do fun activities with the student volunteers from the Udornthani Rajabhat University, because since the COVID-19 pandemic began, students haven’t had any special activities to supplement their experience.

The academic skills development camp doesn’t focus on academics, but rather on teamwork among students, based on the concept of “siblings must help each other.” It uses various core subjects as tools for students to think and work together, including Thai language, mathematics, science, and online media and applications. Students must understand and control themselves to manage these effectively.
